I missed yesterday's cross-country race, when seven of the field, not for the first time, took a wrong turning. The winner, Garde Champetre, knows the course so well he could race it blindfolded.
For today, all at Cheltenham:
120: Tanks for That
155: Rev It Up
230: Salut Flo
305: Grandouet
335: Oscar Whisky
There's a lot of interest in Great Endeavour today, but I go for Wymott. Pulled up in his last race due to a 'small fracture', which is slightly off-putting, but he's had plenty of time to recover.
There was a lot of money on Paul Nicholl's Mon Parrain in the Paddy Power Gold Cup during the week, but at the time of writing, his odds are lengthening. Nevertheless, I can't see his closet rival, Wishful Thinking, taking this one from him

There is a person on your staff called Tom Roper, whom I believe to be a librarian of some kind...' from a letter to the Vice-Chancellor of Sussex University, 26 June 2010
