None of the classics blogs I follow picked this up, so I shall fill the gap. Frederick Raphael spoke about his new book Satyrica, on Radio 3's literature programme the Verb. It's available through the BBC's listen again service for another five days.
The main item in the programme is a reading by Corin Redgrave of extracts from Ronan Bennett's work in progress, This Is Private, so listeners will need to fast forward some way into the programme find the Raphael interview, but it is well worth doing so.
