I saved my long run for bank holiday Monday, hoping the weather might be better. It wasn't. A strong south-westerly and intermittent rain made the going difficult, but I went to Newhaven up onto the cliffs, then on to Peacehaven and Telscombe. Eight and a half miles took me to the Badger's Watch pub, making seventeen in all, the furthest I've run so far in training for this year's Beachy Head marathon.
