I must record a whole week's worth of running at once, as I haven't posted all week. Today I ran along the clifftops to Rottingdean, without the aid of the the Garmin, whose battery life has suddenly shortened, but, based on previous runs in that direction, what I know of landmarks on the way, and assuming an 11 minute mile pace, it was about 20 miles. I'm relieved that there's not that many long runs left: another 20-miler next Sunday, then Hastings, then 22 on Easter Sunday, then 18, 12 and the marathon itself.
Other runs this week were a three 1.5 mile fast session along Seaford front on Tuesday, a nine mile run on Wednesday over Seaford Head and along the Cuckmere estuary, and a five mile to High and Over on Thursday. I'm afraid I had to skip Saturday's four miles. Nature notes: shelduck and egrets on the Cuckmere.
